Each client's goals are specific to their own wants and needs. We offer professional lawn and bed maintenance services that are designed to enhance the investment already made by our clients in their landscape. Our lawn and bed maintenance services include: weekly mowing, trimming and blowing clippings, fertilization and weed control, aeration and over-seeding, shrub trimming, plant specific fertilization, weeding of beds, edging and mulching. Our turf and lawn maintenance program can be all inclusive or only the services of which our clients need.
Every time we visit your property, we do an on-site inspection before leaving. We communicate with our clients if we notice anything developing that needs attention such as: emerging weeds, brown patch, irrigation leak, fungus on plants, and moles.

Weed Control and Fertilization
The Mastin Company offers an annual lawn fertilization and turf weed control program that consists of six treatments throughout the year. The first three treatments in the spring focus on pre-emergent, post-emergent and fertilization. Our summer treatment is more about iron and less about nitrogen. The fall treatment is a balanced starter fertilize to go with our annual aeration and over-seeding. Our winter treatment helps deepen the root system for the newly planted fall turf grass.
Our lawn care professionals are trained and certified to apply fertilizer, herbicides and fungicides. The Mastin Company also offers a free lawn analysis to identify the problem areas. We provide our clients with a corrective action plan on how we plan to restore their lawn.
Lawn Mowing Services
Our lawn mowing service includes mowing, edging, trimming and blowing clippings out of plant & tree beds as well as off the patio, sidewalk and driveway. Our mowing equipment is state of the art, and our lawn professionals take great pride in their work, leaving your lawn looking manicured.
We yield to extreme weather conditions whether it's extremely wet or dry. We will make the right decision prior in both wet and dry conditions, so we don't rut the turf or cause excessive wear patterns.
Our weekly mowing service is based on thirty two (32) weeks plus or minus dependent upon weather conditions. We typically will mow the lawn in directional stripes alternating directions each week. Our mowing height will vary depending on weather. Our average mowing height is 3 ¾" in height.
Shrub Bed Maintenance
Give your landscape a fresh new look after the harsh winter. Our shrub bed maintenance in the spring is more than just a cleanup. Along with bed edging and mulch installation, we provide weed control and plant specific fertilizer to give plants the nutrients they need for another successful growing season.
The Mastin Company shrub bed maintenance services include: Trimming off winter growth, clean up of beds, pruning off dead branches from shrubs and ornamentals, cutting back perennials, edging all plant beds, weed control and fertilization and triple shredded mulch application to plant beds and tree rings. We schedule shrub bed maintenance in the spring and fall of each year.
Aeration and Over-Seeding
Aerating allows oxygen to move throughout the soil. It also keeps the soil from getting overly-compacted. The Mastin Company recommends running the aerator over the lawn in three different directions (vertically, horizontally and diagonal) getting as many cores out of the soil as you can.
We recommend over-seeding immediately after aeration with a premium fescue seed. We use a premium turf seed . The Mastin Company turf has zero weed content and is a very clean high quality seed. Our brand was developed in the south, with the heat and humidity in mind.
