The Mastin Company offers an annual lawn fertilization and turf weed control program that consists of six treatments throughout the year. Three treatments in the spring focus on pre-emergents, post emergents and fertilization. Our summer treatment is more about iron and less about nitrogen. The fall treatment is a balanced starter fertilizer to go with our annual aeration and over-seeding. Our winter treatment helps deepen the root system from the newly-planted fall grass.
Staying consistent is the key with lawn treatments. One or two treatments will not provide the sustainability of the turf or lawn that most clients expect. Optimum results for a lawn renovation would require a thorough aeration and heavy seeding, along with six lawn treatments that would include pre-emergents, herbicides and fertilizer.
Our standard six treatment plan does not include treatment of grubs, moles or funguses. We can treat for all of those but treatment will be an additional cost. We do not require any contracts or upfront money.
The Mastin Company also offers a free lawn analysis to identify the problem areas. We provide our clients with a corrective action plan on how we plan to restore their lawn.
